Week 1

This week, I have two characters... cheating already. Hmm
Peters - he's just mortgaged his wife's cottage off so that they can tear it down, and make a new one thats ecofriendly. I learned about mortgages this past week. They're very scary things. If anything slightly goes wrong, they could be spending the next 30 years trying to pay it off. Peters idea is to rent the cottage out once it's done so's they'll be able to pay it off in just over a year.
And Eco-friendly! Wow. Solar panels, geo-thermal energy, they're recycling as much of the old cottage as possible. Soo awesome. I'm proud of them for being daring and taking initiative. Yay.

Jill unknowingly touched me yesterday. She said I reminded her of a girl in a song, this song:

KT Tunstall - Suddenly I See

Her face is a map of the world
Is a map of the world
You can see she's a beautiful girl
She's a beautiful girl
And everything around her is a silver pool of light
The people who surround her feel the benefit of it
It makes you calm
She holds you captivated in her palm

Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
Why the hell it means so much to me

I feel like walking the world
Like walking the world
You can hear she's a beautiful girl
She's a beautiful girl
She fills up every corner like she's born in black and white
Makes you feel warmer when you're trying to remember
What you heard
She likes to leave you hanging on her word

Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
Why the hell it means so much to me

And she's taller than most
And she's looking at me
I can see her eyes looking from a page in a magazine
Oh she makes me feel like I could be a tower
A big strong tower
She got the power to be
The power to give
The power to see

Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see (Suddenly I see)
Why the hell it means so much to me

Obviously a huge compliment, but that isn't all. First, the fact that Jill likened me to someone who people look up to for being independent, original, interesting, kind ("her face is a map of the world," etc.) is HUGE. That sort of person is definitely the sort I want to be. If Jill thinks I'm getting there, well, thats a good sign. And secondly, most importantly, the lines that I bolded are very important to me once I listened harder to the music. "Oh she make me feel like I could be a tower, A big strong tower"
The name Madeleine means Strong Tower. AWESOME
So Jill made me feel very loved, and now I have a song to live up to.

i love the song "suddenly i see". i don't like many female singers... but i like this song. you deserve the compliment, you got my admiration :).

eco-friendly... it's the things you hear that everyone should do, but you don't actually really hear people don't it (or at least i don't).

compliments with compliments, factors with factors, radicals with radicals.
think about it.

i get the first part.. in my head anyways, i complimented peters, jill complemented me.
what about factors with factors, radicals with radicals? :S
two of the same radical multiplied get rid of the radical.. what do two factors have in common? two of the same factor? makes a radical.. i guess..
i never seem to grasp fully what you're talking about, andy. you're too smart for me. or i spend too much time over-thinking what you say...
