Today I checked the symptoms of swine flu, and I have all of them.
"Symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, body aches, fatigue and lack of appetite."
I also have a rash on my neck, extremely sensitive skin, and I'm feeling nauseous.
But my mum says that apparently the people who actually have the virus feel really really really really horrible, and I was able to make it to work today, so I think I'm good. I'm a bit annoyed though, because I got my flu shot this year! Unless I am dangerously ill, I shouldn't be sick. Poo.
I've been working for two weeks (training mostly), and I think I'm supposed to be here so that's good. The kids are brilliant!
I need sleeeeeeep. I'll write something more later.
Here is a shout-out to my roomie Kathleen: hi!

shucks woman. feel better. and please don't have the swine flu because if you have it than that means i'm very susceptible to getting it as well.
HI!
get better. get better. get better. get better. get better.
(and you ARE supposed to be here).
those are also the symptoms of regular flu. but you really shouldn't be going to work. even if you can drag yourself out of bed, if you're sick, your putting everyone else at risk. especially since you work with kids.
please stay home.
i wasn't around kids and it was the only training day with the teen volunteers before camp, so i felt obligated to go, and i was feeling alright that morning so i thought it was just a bad cold.
I never get the flu shot.
i had all the symptoms last week, they're posted in the staff room at my work. but yeah, as darryl said. they're all the symptoms for NORMAL flu!
pfft.
i used to get the flu shot, then i stopped. didnt seem to make much difference either way.
MY WORD IS "UNLIKE".
Get well soon!
